House fire in Titusville kills one resident Friday morning One resident and two cats were killed in the fire. One resident of a Titusville home was killed in an early morning house fire Friday, fire officials reported. Two cats also died. At about 3:18 a.m. Friday, Titusville Fire Department and Brevard County Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire on Palmetto Street, where they found a single-story house with fire coming through the roof, according to a Facebook post on Titusville Fire Department's Facebook page.
