Nichols named airport authority business development manager Lisa Nichols recently was named business development manager at the Titusville-Cocoa Airport Authority. Nichols' most recent previous role was economic development director for the city of Titusville. The authority, also known as TICO, governs the affairs of the Airport District, which includes a three-airport system ― Space Coast Regional Airport, Arthur Dunn Airpark, Merritt Island Airport ― and new Spaceport. The district is created for the purpose of acquiring, constructing, improving, financing, operating and maintaining airport facilities, including buildings, structures, roads, alleyways, railroad loading and unloading facilities, and any other development of land owned or leased by the authority.
